The land lines work fine, though. Sure they're not as private as the almighty cellphone but when you really need to hear that special person's voice anything works, right?

Transformed out of the old colonial schoolhouse, the public library is lined from wall to wall with any book you could imagine, except the more modern ones, that is; shipment is too slow to make it to Lincolnshire too many times a year.

This is the local store here in little Lincolnshire. Groceries are a must and this is where you can get them along with other tiny miscellaneous needs. Or maybe you aren't here for a necessity and you've just come to tame your sweet tooth. Burkley also has a lovely 50's icecream parlor in the back.

When you must tend to those bumps and bruises that just won't heal with a band-aid, it's off to the clinic. Although they don't have the equipment for very intense treatment, it's the best location available for emergencies.

A single room church with basically nothing but an altar and a few rows of pews, most families regularly go to mass on sundays. If you don't go, talk will probably erupt, but no one's demanding that you go.

Police always have some job to do in a small town where stir-crazed teenagers are forced to live their lives in almost complete isolation.

Equipped with endless field, Lincolnshire is perfect for a little ranch such as this one. It's nothing huge but it's got an upper, left and right barn, stalls filled with horses. The owner allows lessons for a fee and a lot of regulars volunteer around the barn because the owner can't afford an actual staff.

As a small humble cabin down the road from the school, the Town House Books and Cafe is a awesome bookstore and cafe where kids love to go and grab a nice drink and pastry.

What had orginally been used for business storage is now a crickety rusted hunk of metal where kids go to create trouble. Parties are held here all the time and God knows what else. The town planned to tear it down last year but never got the minimum labor force to carry out the act.

If you plan to slowly kill yourself through methods of second hand smoke and alcohol poisoning then this is the place for you. The room is constantly clouded with smoke and the walls have yellowed due to the regular application of smoked nicotine. The bar is also located here, tended by 'ole Smitty himself.

With the modest architecture of a log cabin the little Inn, run by the Miller family, the Inn serves as a resturaunt and a place of rest for visitors.

Here in Lincolnshire there's quite a lot of it. Most go here for some peace and quiet but at night a lot of kids will sneak out to a party. Be careful though, grasslands don't have much to shelter you, should a cop happen to catch you.

An old opera house works wonderfully as a movie theater; it has such good acoustics. The theater is open all days of the week and plays the new releases at 7:00pm each night.

Well, since you're not going to find any stylish clothing stores anywhere in Lincolnshire, you'll have to travel quite a distance and hit the shopping center. Here you can buy things that you'd actually want someone to see you wearing.
